It is not surprising that our needs are many and varied since Renewal Ranch has only been operational since January 2010. Our program is free to the participants of our program and we are totally dependent on the generosity of churches and individuals for support. Renewal Ranch has received 501(3)(c) from the IRS and all donations are tax deductible. Our needs fall in two broad categories; ongoing needs of the ranch and special project needs that are established for a limited time as needed. Several avenues of giving are available for those wishing to support the ranch.

ONGOING FINANCIAL NEEDS

  Operating expenses to support day-to-day operations of the ranch. The monthly cost of housing, feeding and providing training for each man is approximately $1,200. We receive many one-time gifts from churches and individuals, and a growing number have chosen to pledge monthly support through regular giving. No gift is too small (or too large for that matter) and monthly support is a great encouragement to our ministry.
   

SPECIAL PROJECTS Special projects to develop our campus or meet unusual needs of residents are established by the Board of Directors as needs arise. Giving to special projects should be designated when funds are forwarded to the ranch. The following projects have been established based on our current needs.

a. Linens Sheets, pillowcases, comforters, and towels at the bunkhouse are wearing thin and need to be replaced is reaching a critical level. All of these items are on the bridal registry at Target. You may get a funny look when you request the Renewal Ranch registry, but it was that or the baby registry.
b. Emergency Medical Needs The medical needs of some residents, particularly dental work, can be significant at times. While we request that families pay for all medical needs of residents while they are at the ranch, many do not have families capable of providing this support. The ranch tries to maintain a $1,000 budget for such emergency medical work, and additional funds are needed to meet this threshold.
c. Multipurpose Building We plan to build a multipurpose building to be used as a meeting place for chapel services, classes, special events, additional bed space, office space, and many other needs.
d. Walking Trail Bridges Our residents have surfaced most of the 0.6 mile-long walking trail around the lake with gravel, but several bridges are needed to complete the project. Residents will build the bridges, but materials costs are estimated to be approximately $2,000. Approximately 40% of the funds needed have been raised.
